Faithfully replicates all internal implant connections. In single units and abutments, it brings an external hex to the surface, while in screw-retained bridges, a cylinder emerges instead. The hex or cylinder must be press-fitted into a calibrated housing milled into the prosthesis, enabling the feasibility of zirconia restorations. The screw seats rests on the prosthesis (not on the connector), so the screw channel is reinforced by approximately 1 mm in height to prevent fractures during tightening. Likewise, it is always the prosthesis (and never the connector) that sits on the fixture.
